The staff were very kind, and there are some good souvenir shops down the street. The hotel itself has no gym, pool, or other amenities, and it's not near the main attractions. I waited about 40 minutes with the water running, but it never got hot. The hair dryer didn't work either, and the chair in my room was ripped. I'd rate it 7/10.

Roma Termini is very close to Hotel Genova, which is its main advantage. The rooms aren't especially spacious, and the heater in our bathroom didn't work during any of the three nights my husband and I were there. Breakfast had a decent spread, mixing Italian and American styles.

The rooms were spacious, very nice, and clean, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The location was good too. In my opinion, though, breakfast needs a lot of work for a four-star hotel. There was hardly any hot food, the cold cuts and cheese selection was very poor, and the rest of it needs an upgrade as well.

It's a great place to stay. The only issue for me was the shower cubicle, which felt a little cramped because I'm 6ft 2in. Apart from that, great place.

Breakfast had plenty of choice, with fresh fruit and coffee that didn't taste like the usual cheap hotel stuff. The room was clean and laid out well, and we were able to check in right away. What stood out was the location and the thoughtful help at checkout. The front desk agent kept our luggage in the back so we wouldn't be exposed to pickpockets while waiting for our taxi. It's a beautiful hotel in an ideal spot.
