Hotel Parini

Parking was the main frustration for me. There are just six spots for the hotel’s 35 rooms, and they fill fast. There’s other parking nearby, but it’s only free after 6pm. The village itself is quiet and lovely, with some stunning walks by the lake. The hotel has a quaint feel, and the rooms have nice traditional shutters. Breakfast is buffet style, with a good range for a smaller hotel, and the homemade or locally made pies were fantastic. The staff are friendly, and pets are allowed.

Breakfast was probably the highlight, with plenty of sweet and savory choices and great coffee. The staff were super nice and helpful, the beds were great, and the pillows were brilliant. The rooms are pleasant, though we did notice a few minor cleanliness issues. Nothing serious, and it still felt like good value for a three-star hotel at a very good price. A car makes it easy to get around, with the highway nearby and both Lake Como and Como city about a 25-minute drive away. We didn’t use public transport, though it is an option.

Señorita Luigia, you’re a sweetheart. I wish you all the best. Juan Ruiz, from Mexico. Magnifique! The owner is an incredible woman, and I’d love to return on every trip to northern Italy. I’m here again now, maybe for the 15th time, and I still arrive with a big smile. It feels like the home of your best friends. The hotel is nice and quiet, recently renovated, with good prices and a superb breakfast.

We stayed here while traveling around Lake Como, with a few other lakes nearby too. The hotel was nice, and our room was spacious and clean, with a really comfortable, large bed. The bathroom had everything we might need. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good.
