We had such a lovely stay, and the owner and her family were incredibly helpful. The dog could come along on several scenic trails, and dinner in the charming old stable was a real treat. The place itself is beautiful. Thanks for everything, we'll be back as soon as we can.

You need more than a few lines to explain Masseria Salecchia. After a few days among the Daunia hills, we felt completely at home. The owners are wonderful, the nearby villages are little gems to wander around, and the scenery is enchanting. Everything here seems shaped by tradition, care, and a real love of beauty and the work they share with visitors. It’s slow tourism, with good food and fresh, clean air, the kind of beauty that restores your spirit. I’d come back every year.

Going home with a deeper appreciation and a lot of gratitude, we keep thinking about the time we spent at the masseria. My partner and I joined the Farmer Experience and stayed overnight, surrounded by nature and everyday country life. Francesco welcomed us warmly and shared how much he loves his land. We helped make cheese, looked after the animals, and walked the sheep out to pasture. It felt like joining a real community, with simple but meaningful values around caring for nature and sustainability. Our stay was lovely, every detail had been thought through, and the quiet was restorative. Thank you, Francesco, for letting us share in your daily life and passion. We can't wait to return.

A real shame, because the masseria itself is very beautiful and has so much potential. The breakfast ladies were cheerful and helpful, but the rest of our stay was far below what we expected. With a six-month-old baby, we chose the place for its quiet setting and the catering it advertised. Instead, school and scout camps took over the common areas and disrupted the peace from 7 a.m. until 2 a.m. We ended up staying in our room to rest, with no air conditioning while it was 40 degrees Celsius outside. The catering service praised on the website was unavailable at both lunch and dinner. Getting in was also awkward, and the road posed a risk of punctures. We raised these problems with Francesco, the owner, but received no help.
