The garden with its olive and lemon trees is lovely and peaceful, with a great view of the lake. We chose an apartment so we could avoid set meal times and get away from the busy parts of Lake Garda. The place was clean and roomy, with three bedrooms and two beds in each, so it worked well for a family. We got a large and a small towel per person, plus fresh sheets, though we would have liked a linen change during our eight-night stay. The kitchen was well equipped, but there was no dishwasher or coffee machine. There was room for six to sleep, but no shared dining area, with seats split between the kitchen, balcony and living room. The mattresses felt too soft for us. Free Wi-Fi and secure parking were appreciated. The landlord was friendly, but we had trouble sleeping through the night. The hosts live upstairs, and mornings could be noisy, with balcony conversations, their grandchild on a squeaky swing, or furniture being moved during weekly cleaning. At checkout, the tourist tax was disputed: our bill showed it had been paid, but it was requested after we were already in the car. We weren't given a guest card, and the amount asked for didn't seem to match the information we had. It's a clean apartment in a beautiful spot, though the noise and organization problems affected our stay.
