Chalet Prinoth

A great place for four snowboarders. There was plenty of space, two bathrooms, and it was clean, nicely decorated, and quiet. The owner, Olaf, cleared the driveway every day during the four days of fresh snow.

The house is beautiful and the furnishings are well maintained. The location could be interesting in summer, but it's too far from the village for skiing. At first we had a good impression, but several problems really spoiled the stay. On our first evening it was already chilly, and we couldn't use some of the rooms. We had to ask twice more before it finally got warm enough, by which time half the week was gone. When you're paying almost €3,000 for a week, you expect the place to be warm without having to keep asking for each degree. We also couldn't use the oven and stovetop at the same time because the main fuse would trip. That warning is buried in the manual, so suddenly everything went dark, including the lights, and we had to go outside to find the fuse box. This information should be on the first page. We left our pepper mill behind, which was our mistake. But when we tried several times to ask how we might get it back, we got no reply. They had used the same communication channel to respond before, so it felt like they were deliberately ignoring us. That was very disappointing and ultimately too much. I can't recommend the place as things stand, though perhaps their behavior will change.

We stayed here a few years ago and thought it was a great place. It had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious kitchen, and a cozy living room, plus a garage and boot dryers. I'd love to return!

There’s a garage for the car, and the house has plenty of room, including two bathrooms. It’s close to lots of ski lifts and areas, as well as the Sellaronda. Just be aware that the final stretch up to the house can get pretty steep after snowfall.
