Garni La Bercia

The team were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and there’s underground parking available. This privately owned hotel serves breakfast and also has a bar in the afternoon. It sits just above the main Val Gardena gondola, with ski-in, ski-out access, and the main street’s bars and restaurants are only a short walk away. Worth a visit.

Being close to the gondola and having a peaceful ski-in, ski-out spot made for a great holiday for our group. We had a relaxing time and were always met with a smile. Thanks for a great week!

The balcony was a lovely place to sit, with a view across the whole town. It stayed cool even on a sunny summer day. The room was clean and cozy, and the location worked well for me, away from the busy area but near a bus stop. I really enjoyed my stay.

The view was incredible, with the mountains right there when we woke up each day. The hotel sits in town but just at the edge, so it was peaceful, and we thought it was the best location around. It’s small enough to feel like visiting family or a generous friend, and we had a hard time leaving. No hotel we stayed at afterward measured up. My husband, our son, his girlfriend and I spent four nights at Garni Hotel La Bercia, and we all had a wonderful time. The local family who built and runs it were so welcoming and generous. Max greeted us with a warm smile and told us about the family and their history. His mother, Ylvie, was there for the rest of our trip, always happy, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was so plentiful we didn’t need lunch, and there was enough variety over the four days to keep it interesting. The coffee and fresh baked goods were delicious, and we often stayed for two or three cups. We felt thoroughly spoiled. The Dolomites are beautiful, and we hope to return and stay at La Bercia again.
