Hotel della Volta

There’s a shopping centre right across the street and restaurants nearby. The area is quiet at night, breakfast is included, and the price was great.

For a quick stay, it was pretty good, and the beds were comfortable and fairly clean. We booked for two and got a double bed plus a single. The air conditioning listed on bookings.com didn’t work, and neither did the WiFi. The bathroom could use some improvements. I was on the ground floor and it was a bit noisy, too.

For one night on the road, I’d stay here again. It’s inexpensive and easy to reach from the highway, and the room was surprisingly spacious and clean. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the main downside: everything was so sweet that I couldn’t eat much before I’d had enough. My expectations were low because of the price, but the room was quite good.

We had no sleep after staff spent much of the night, around 3am, yelling, laughing, and clattering cups in the lobby right beside our room. When we asked first thing the next morning to move rooms, they were extremely rude and couldn’t even give us a taxi number. We’d booked two nights, but the first room also had a disgusting smell from the bathroom. Airing it out for over an hour didn’t help, the smell came straight back. I’m not sure whether it was mould or a broken pipe. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
