The staff were really nice and let me switch rooms after my first night because someone in my room snored loudly. They handled it well, and the atmosphere was friendly. Thanks for that!

I really recommend visiting Brescia and staying at this hostel. The city has a nice vibe, and the hostel is right in the centre, which is perfect. My bed was comfy and the room was clean. The bathroom was spacious and clean too, though the shower drain was a bit broken. They fixed it right away.

For 32 euros, I expected either breakfast or a pleasant place to hang out, so I think it's overpriced for what it is. The shower screen was broken, and I put the two panels back together myself. My bed hadn't been made up, either. It would also help to have a chair in the room for putting on your shoes when you're in the upper bed.

I stayed two nights and was glad to support the hostel during a slow period. The owner is a young entrepreneur who had the misfortune of opening in March 2020, just as the Covid crisis began. He's completely renovated an old building on a quiet side street, so everything is modern and clean, with a lift, and the area has lots of inexpensive restaurants and bars. The kitchen currently has only a fridge and microwave, though hopefully that will change when business returns to normal. My one suggestion is to put 2m curtains on the common area windows for a bit more privacy from people walking past on the street.
