Our only regret was having just one night at Gasthof Weidmannshof. We stopped here for a short break in Brixen, and everything was wonderful. The family hosts were welcoming and very nice, and the guesthouse itself is beautiful, with big, comfortable, spotless rooms.

I had a wonderful stay. The hotel was clean, in an amazing location, and served delicious food, with exceptional service from the owners. They didn’t speak English, so communication was difficult, but they still went out of their way for me. Since I had to leave for skiing before the complimentary breakfast was served, they let me come down over an hour early and eat with them. On Sunday, when the bus from the hotel to the train station ran later than on other days, they knew I planned to ski and offered to drive me to the bus station in town. They did exactly that. 100/10, you’re making a huge mistake if you don’t stay here. The owners are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met.

We stayed in the apartment for the athletics competitions held June 5-7, 2026. The view was panoramic, and it was only a 5-minute drive from the stadium. Since it’s in a hamlet, we could walk quickly down to the sports field, with no parking issues. The ground-floor apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and direct access to the garden. Breakfasts were exceptional. The lady made the jams herself, and I swear I’ve never tasted anything so good! The hosts were very kind, parking was convenient, and it was handy for getting downtown. Highly recommended.
