We hadn’t planned on staying at Residence Gasser, but car trouble brought us there. The reception staff were incredibly kind and helpful, extending our checkout without hesitation and checking whether we could stay another night if needed. Their support made a stressful situation much easier. The room was comfortable and everything was very clean. We were especially glad our dog could stay in the room with us. A great experience, thanks in large part to the wonderful service.

Residence Gasser is part of the Gruenen Baum hotel, about a two-minute walk away. Our vacation there was lovely. The large, comfortable room was more than enough for three and came with a balcony. There’s also a small rooftop terrace, parking in front, and a larger parking area behind. The main drawback is that cars can reach the residence only from the northeast via a one-way street, so traffic can be delayed while you drive south through town and then back north. Breakfast at the residence was great, as were the half-board dinners at the main GB hotel, especially the wide selection at the huge salad, starter, cheese, and dessert buffet. The wellness facilities were excellent, with modern indoor and outdoor pools, whirlpools, and a smaller children’s pool. The Brixen card was included, with free entry to Acquarena and the cableway to Plose. Staff at both the residence and hotel were friendly and professional, and the old town is within walking distance. Definitely recommended.

It was over 26 degrees Celsius during my stay, and there was no air conditioning in the room. I could hear cars passing at night from my street-facing room, and I couldn’t sleep well.
