Residence Bergblick

The location was great.

The setting is gorgeous, surrounded by greenery with the Dolomites in view. It’s peaceful and relaxing, away from the city, but a bus stops right below the residence for trips to Bressanone. There are lovely walks nearby and plenty of fresh air. The rooms were clean and had what we needed for a holiday, including a mini fridge, kitchen, and cooking utensils. Breakfast was generous and varied, and dinner was good too, with a different menu each day. The staff were helpful, especially the dining room lady, who was a real professional. A few things let it down for me. The balcony table and floor were very dusty, and sweeping just kicked up more dust. There were three of us, so I had to sleep on the couch, which was a horrible experience. It just isn’t suited for sleeping, and I woke up in pieces. I also missed having a bidet. And I would have appreciated a bottle of water in the room, since the tap water wasn’t drinkable yet because of the renovations.

The view alone deserves 10 stars. The apartment was spotless, the staff really friendly and helpful, and the kitchen had everything. My only gripe is the lack of a bidet. 😏 I’d definitely recommend it.

The view is breathtaking, and Ms. Helena was so kind and helpful. It’s a lovely spot for escaping the city in any season. You can even order warm bread and pastries for the morning. We’ll definitely return.
