One star is the most I can give. The property description is inaccurate, and the furnishings look at least 40 years old, never renovated, and damaged or incomplete. Bathroom linens are worn and there aren’t enough of them. There’s a smell of smoke that seems to go back to the pre-Prohibition era. The playground is just a swing set, with a cat’s grave behind it. Then the host insults you. Since Booking.com requires payment in advance, you won’t get your money back. If you have a taste for the macabre and want to get intoxicated, this is the place. Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.

The rooms are clean and have what you need for a comfortable stay, and the owner is friendly and helpful. The residence is in Millan, about a 20-minute walk from Bressanone in South Tyrol.

We only stayed here in transit on the way back from the sea, but would like to return for longer. Our apartment for two adults and one child was high up on the mountain, with a great view of the area. There are lots of sights to see and sports activities nearby.

Near Bressanone, this was the cheapest place we found, and also the nicest. Great value for money.
