The staff are what make this hotel feel like a family place, and the Tirol-style dinners were wonderful, both in taste and presentation. I stayed for a winter holiday in February, though I’m writing this late. It’s in a beautiful spot, around a 15-minute walk from the Old Town, and about a 15-minute drive to skiing at Plose. The city-facing rooms have balconies and a great view of Brixen; the mountain-facing side looks toward the parking area. A few things could be better, like the sauna and the old-fashioned rooms on the mountain side, but I’d still recommend the hotel and am sure I’ll come back.

The Temlhof is very clean and well equipped, with indoor and outdoor pools and a spa. Our room had a separate sitting area with a TV, apart from the bedroom, and the furnishings felt very warm. The staff were really friendly. It’s in a fantastic spot with a lovely view over Bressanone, about five minutes from the city center. Breakfast on the big panoramic terrace was great. I recommend it.
