Tourist Hotel

We had a great stay as a family with children aged 12 and 13, and would highly recommend the hotel. It’s a three-minute walk to the city center, with a bus stop nearby for the Plose cable car, or about a 15-minute drive there. The rooms were clean, cozy and comfortable, breakfast was very tasty, and the staff were extremely nice.

The owners and staff were kind, welcoming and happy to help. The hotel also has a spacious, convenient parking lot, and the air conditioning was great to have in summer. It’s very close to Bressanone’s old town, just a few minutes on foot, and the town has a lovely atmosphere and great restaurants. The rooms are modern, with indulgent showers, and breakfast was very nice. The interior feels quite gray, apart from the dining room, so it could use warmer colors, pictures or accessories. That may just be a matter of taste. Our room felt a bit cramped for three: we were a couple with a teenage girl. The room shared by our other two girls worked very well. For two people, or with a small child, the room would be great. I’d recommend this hotel if you plan to spend most of the day out and want a good night’s sleep and breakfast.

The location is perfect, just a five-minute walk to the old city, and the hotel feels very new. The air conditioning was great, even colder than we’re used to in America, and they didn’t turn it off overnight. Service was fantastic; they even made us coffee and a croissant to take along. There’s indoor parking, too. Try the wine gallery a block away!

Bressanone is wonderful and well worth a visit. Hotels there are expensive, but the Tourist Hotel is affordable by comparison. It’s well located, and the rooms are very well furnished.
