We spent five nights here and have never felt so welcome or relaxed. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are cozy, comfortable and well appointed. We ordered breakfast on two mornings and really enjoyed it. Go early, though: breakfast runs from 8-10 a.m., and when we slept in one morning, much of the food was already gone. The scenery in Südtirol is breathtaking, and we enjoyed day trips to Secede, Plose, Brixen and Bolzano.

A quaint, clean hotel that’s comfortable for couples or families. The food was outstanding, and the sauna and hot tub were a nice extra.

The outdoor jacuzzi and regular sauna are available too, and there’s a private infrared sauna right in the apartment. A really nice place to stay.

Waldheim gave us the relaxing start to Italy we were hoping for. The friendly community and incredible views made it special, and the breakfast spread deserves a mention too.

I told the host I was looking for a place for three, and was told, “I do not rent a flat for 8 persons only to 3 persons”. I don’t understand why we couldn’t book it when the apartment holds more people than that.
