Les Neiges d'Antan

Our first visit, and we feel lucky to have found this lovely hotel. The service was amazing, especially from Deborah Gaspard. She was always smiling, listened patiently, and got us what we needed quickly. Thanks for making our stay so wonderful!

I had one of the simpler rooms, but it was still really comfortable, and the staff made me feel at ease as soon as I arrived. I stayed four nights and enjoyed them a lot. Sitting on the deck with a well-made cocktail, looking out over the Matterhorn and the valley mountains, was a real pleasure.

The wellness area was beautifully put together, with a sauna, cold plunge and steam room. I came hoping for a place that cared about wellbeing, and it delivered. The staff also kept offering sincere advice about hikes, places to visit and making the most of the area. My two days here were some of my happiest in Italy, and even in midsummer the stay left a lasting impression. I’d love to return. The room was spacious, spotless and bright, with a very comfortable bed. It felt like somewhere I wanted to spend time, not just sleep. Dinner was another highlight: four lovely courses, cooked exceptionally well and at a surprisingly reasonable price. It’s some of the best food I’ve had in Italy. From arrival, the team treated me like a friend staying in their home. They even asked whether they should set a place for me at dinner that night. I can imagine this place is wonderful during ski season too. Thanks to everyone for making the visit special.

Ludo and his family bring so much warmth and care to Les Neiges d’Antan. The hotel has a real sense of home, with traditional Alpine character and quiet luxury. Ludo’s taste shows in every detail, from the inviting, elegant feel of the place to the local food. He’s also happy to suggest a wine from the impressive cellar or share stories by the fireplace, and makes sure guests feel personally looked after. After a day on the slopes, the mountain-view spa is a peaceful place to unwind. The food is another pleasure, comforting but refined, with Italian and Alpine flavours. Breakfast before heading out and a candlelit dinner both feel special. What stays with you is the feeling of belonging, along with the beautiful surroundings and the welcome from Ludo and his team. Les Neiges d’Antan has plenty of character and charm, and it’s somewhere I’d want to return to.
