My family lives nearby and are regulars here. This was my second time eating at the family-owned and run business, and I’ll be back again very soon. The food was superb. Excellent cooking paired with high-quality ingredients made it the best food in the surrounding area, in my view.

The restaurant is superb, with fine dining. I also loved the comfortable rooms and their tasteful decor. The owner has a charming personality and really makes an effort to help you feel at ease. A wonderful place.

The wine list leans local, with several of my favourite Trentino wineries on it. I tried groppello from Val di Non for the first time alongside the deer, and it didn't disappoint. The menu is small, only three or four choices for each course, but the ingredients are top quality and everything was prepared really well. Service was very good from beginning to end. My first visit to locanda alpina, and I'll be back. Definitely recommend it.

The main drawback is that there's really nothing to do nearby, though it's worth stopping here while travelling through. The place is quiet, with fairly new, comfortable rooms and very good food. There weren't many staff around, but we didn't find ourselves lacking anything. If I remember right, it's owned by the same guy.
