Camping Scogliera Azzurra

The camper pitch is affordable, and the kids' area is nice. It's a modest campsite, with the sea very close and a small bar where prices are reasonable. Hot showers take coins, but they run for a good while. The bathrooms are always clean, though they aren't divided into men's and women's sections.

We spent two weeks in one of the very roomy bungalows and found the place welcoming and peaceful. It's clean, surrounded by greenery, and the sea is right outside the campsite, with several beaches to choose from. A great spot for a quiet holiday. We'd be happy to come back.

Last year the staff helped us sort out several problems without charging us, and they were wonderful when we arranged a surprise birthday with the management. They even lent a hand and got karaoke going. The bungalows are clean and spacious, and everyone was so welcoming. There are beautiful beaches nearby. A car would make it easier to explore the towns around there. I hope we can return this year. Best, Laura and Cinzia, Turin.

We paid €550 for a bungalow from August 23rd to September 3rd, 2016, and I'd happily go back. Ours was a spacious two-room place with a big veranda, kitchen, double bedroom, hallway and bathroom with toilet, bidet, shower and sink. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and there was secure parking right by the bungalow, accessible day or night. The beaches are close, from pretty to genuinely beautiful, and places like Tropea, Pizzo and Vibo Valentia are only a short drive away. Pets can come along to the beach and swim with us, as long as we respect the people there. Everyone was kind to us, especially about our little dwarf Pintcher. This is a good campsite for relaxing, enjoying the sea and being in nature without frills. It isn't for people after pools or entertainment. My main regret was that the holiday was nearly over and I had to leave. I recommend it, and hope this helps anyone unsure where to go.
