I've stayed here twice now because it's so close to the station. Getting up the stairs to the second floor is a bit of a climb, though the owners help with luggage. On my second visit I saw that an elevator was being built, which is a big plus for anyone who finds stairs difficult or has heavy bags.

Just one night here, booked through booking. The owner was friendly and made us feel welcome. Our room was clean and spacious, with what we needed, including towels, soap, shampoo and air conditioning. There was a small breakfast, mostly sweet pastries. No elevator, and the rooms are on the top floor.

Getting around was easy, with the station a few minutes away, cafés, bars and restaurants close by, and a nice walk down Corso Umberto to the water. Our room was large, and the place was basic but clean and fairly comfortable. Breakfast was OK, nothing fancy. We were checked in warmly and very patiently even though we arrived around 00:30. It's on the second floor, so don't bring too much luggage. Recommended.

I rarely give five stars, but I couldn't fault this stay. My room was huge, cleaned daily, and had all the towels supplied. Francesco was incredibly helpful. I was in town for a wedding at a venue in the middle of nowhere, and when the taxi company wanted too much, he arranged for a friend to take me there and pick me up. I didn't try breakfast, though it looked more than adequate. I'd stay again, if only to say hello to Francesco!

Parking is possible on nearby streets, but be patient and expect to circle around a few times before finding a free spot. Breakfast was poor: cereal, milk, coffee, packaged sweets, bread and butter, with apples as the only fresh item. The room was clean and had a good sized bed. The location works well, close to the train station and about a 10 minute walk from the waterfront. We were on the second floor, and the steep climb wasn't much fun after a long day.
