I wouldn’t recommend it. The pool is quite nice and the bar is good, but there isn’t much else to do. The beach is very average, and the rooms weren’t very clean. We saw ants in many of them, and the showers were dirty. It’s a huge, somewhat secluded tourist village, and for similar prices you can find better places. There were many hidden charges. At check-in we were charged 20 per person in taxes, which they said they couldn’t put on Booking’s main page. They said this was only disclosed at the very bottom of the page, after the contact details. I’ve never seen that before. They also ask guests to buy towels for 5 euros because some packages don’t include shower or bathroom towels. I’ve never encountered that anywhere in the world.

The Italian atmosphere is everywhere, and I really enjoyed my stay. The food was delicious, with something different each day: fish, seafood, lots of fruit and vegetables, plus the must-have pizza and pasta. The animators were friendly and happy to chat, but only if you speak Italian. There were dances, aqua gym, sports competitions and quizzes, all in Italian. The grounds are very green, and the beach is fine, though there are lots of rocks when you enter the sea. Another public beach is a kilometer away; you can walk there or use the free hotel bus.

We were sorry that it rained for most of our stay, since the village itself is wonderful. It’s quiet and clean, our room was in perfect order, and the staff looked after their guests well. We’d recommend the village for a holiday.
