The room was quiet, but the organization was disappointing and I wouldn't return. When we arrived, there was only a small hand soap and towels; the toilet paper had already been used and left there. We couldn't shower right away because there was no shower gel. The fridge was switched off and empty, without even a bottle of water. The front door was old and the stairs were awful. The radiators and the small terrace where you could smoke were the only good things. The bed was uncomfortable, the sheets were dirty, and breakfast wasn't included in the price.

The central location is the one real plus here. Inside, it feels more like a spare room you'd take only if nothing else is available. There's a worn wooden door that looks straight out of the 1980s, marked with a computer-printed laminated "Via Conserva 27" sign, and you have to climb steep, narrow stairs. The room smells damp and stuffy, and nightlife noise from just below the bedroom carries up. The minibar was empty, and breakfast wasn't included. Sorry, I can't recommend it.

The place is minimalist inside and seems well run. They checked the Green pass as soon as we arrived. You can get wine by the glass, very good bruschetta, and plenty of spirits, including bitter rums and cocktails. Outside, there are tables on the pedestrian-only street, with patio heaters for winter.

It works for a single night, but I wouldn't stay longer. The shower drain was blocked and the hygiene could have been better. At least the location in Brindisi is good.
