The passport mix-up was frightening. After we came back from the 3 Hills hike and lunch at Cantina, I asked for our passports, but the staff couldn't find them. A woman with a cute dog named Pepe even handed me two US passports belonging to other people. The man who checked us in still couldn't locate ours, and the staff didn't seem concerned. Eventually someone brought our passports to our room and confirmed they'd been given to the wrong guests. That ruined the mood for the spa appointment we'd booked. I couldn't relax, and they wouldn't refund the fee. The place wasn't really a spa anyway, just a tiny steam room and an even smaller sauna, with no hot tub. The upper deck had a view but was small and its furniture wasn't comfortable. Dinner was a letdown too, with a very limited menu and harsh, office-like lighting. Trattoria La Cosetta a few blocks away had much better food and friendlier service. The hotel was noisy at night, and our bed came with only a sheet. We asked for a blanket and got one, which helped.

We had such a good time here. The owner even gave up her parking spot for us when we arrived, which was incredibly kind. Everyone in the family and on staff was warm and friendly, and we liked both the solid breakfast and the restaurant, which was good value. I'd happily recommend the hotel.

There were 15 of us on a cycling tour, and we stayed here and ate dinner at the restaurant. Daniele and his family put together a fantastic meal with local ingredients and wines from the area. The service was excellent, and the whole group had a memorable stay. Our rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean. Thanks so much for looking after us.

The central location made getting around easy, including trips to Bologna airport and the train station. It's a charming place, with helpful, friendly staff and an excellent restaurant. One of my favorite stays, and highly recommended.

The food was excellent, and the staff made us feel very welcome. I loved the building too, it feels like a little piece of Italy, and the whole place has that special Romagna character. The people working together here and the service were lovely. One of the best hotels I've seen. I'd definitely recommend a visit if you're in Italy.
