The room was clean and tidy, but everything else left us completely disappointed and angry. The owner seemed arrogant and bothered by everything. We asked to use the grill and were told yes, but when we did, he swore at us and accused us of acting as if we were at home. We travel a lot and bring a small travel fridge, but plugging it into an outlet also became a big problem. After two days, he wanted an extra €10 from us. He didn’t seem to mind that we hadn’t used the TV or air conditioning, or that breakfast was so poor: one bottle of water for four people, one coffee, and a croissant. He didn’t give us a bill for the stay either, so I suspect he doesn’t register it and keeps the money without paying taxes. We’ve stayed in at least 30 places this year alone, and nobody has ever treated us like this. I absolutely do not recommend it.

Set in greenery, this farmhouse is a good choice if you’re after peace and quiet. It’s conveniently situated between Marzamemi and Portopalo, and the beautiful beach of Santa Maria del Focallo is just two minutes away. The prices are affordable, and the place is clean, with courteous service.

The property and room were very nice, but cleanliness and furnishings need attention. The hospitality, especially the willingness to help, could have been more generous. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a very good experience.

The owner was kind and ready to help, and the rooms were especially spotless and thoughtfully laid out. It’s a peaceful place, newly built and surrounded by greenery.

The owners were so kind, and breakfast was delicious. Everything felt new and was exceptionally clean, with a really quiet atmosphere. The historic center is nearby, though it’s a couple of kilometers by car.
