The homemade cakes at breakfast, served in the garden among the olive trees, were delicious, and Andrea’s warm, easygoing hospitality made us feel right at home. The patio Jacuzzi was a real highlight too. It’s such a peaceful spot, almost unbelievably quiet, surrounded by nature. If you need a break from everyday stress and noise, this is a lovely place to recharge. We’ll definitely return.

I’m writing because I was asked to cancel my August booking after I said I’d be bringing two small dogs. The listing specifically said “Pets Allowed.” I asked the property to remove that from its list of services, but it’s still there, which feels really unprofessional. In response to the owner: that’s not how I remember it. The listing said “Pets Allowed,” and nothing more. I checked it through yesterday. When I let you know about the dogs, I was told to cancel because one of your pets had made a mess in a room and you’d had to clean everything. Pets shed, so why advertise a service you don’t actually provide? If you don’t welcome pets, that’s your choice, but please remove the listing instead of wasting people’s time and then trying to prove you’re right.

We were gone within an hour. The road there was hard to access, and what first looked like a nice place quickly turned into a bad experience: the cleaning was poor, the towels smelled, there were no bathroom amenities, and insects and weeds were everywhere. The water in the room’s hot tub was green. For €165, I felt robbed. A peaceful natural setting is great, but it doesn’t excuse dirt or a lack of service. It was nothing like the online listing. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Andrea even made us a delicious lunch, and we had a wonderful stay. There’s a lovely pool, beautiful rooms, and whirlpool tubs in this well-kept property in the woods. The greenery has clearly been given a lot of attention. Breakfast was simple but had everything we needed. If you’re after luxury and excess, this isn’t that kind of place. Andrea, you have somewhere lovely with plenty of potential, so make the most of it. We’ll be back for sure.
