Villa Liverzano was the highlight of our three weeks traveling around Europe. I stayed one night with my fiancée and her parents, and Marco and Andrea made every part of it special, from the pool to dinner and breakfast the next morning. The setting is gorgeous and full of history, and the people were the kindest. I’ve never experienced better service. It really feels like a hidden gem. Villa Liverzano made our seven-night summer break feel perfect. The villa is full of charm and so beautiful, it felt like stepping into an Italian movie. The family running it made the stay, and now feel like good friends. Andrea cooked splendid dinners, Alessia hosted everything so well that we felt at home, and their lively, fun daughter Aurora made sure we had a wonderful time. Delicious food, good wine, music by the pool. Amazing!

It was the people at Villa Liverzano who made the stay feel magical. Andrea and Alessia, who manage the villa, have such a warm way of hosting. Andrea’s cooking was a real treat, with incredible menus that were honest and carefully seasoned, never stuffy. Sharing grappas made in-house and other drinks while having lovely conversations about food, drinks, and life felt like pure wellness. The place itself is lovely too. This Eco Country Resort sits among the hills of Emilia Romagna, with vineyards, olive trees, and cypresses around it. The villa has an attractive courtyard with a great bar, relaxing lounges, and elegant, beautifully furnished rooms and suites. Outside, there’s a park-like garden, a nice pool, and a terrace with an amazing view. Alessia made sure we had everything we needed, explaining things, making recommendations, and helping us out with whatever came up. She was always friendly, courteous, and funny. If Villa Liverzano were a body, Andrea and Alessia would be its heart and soul. We arrived as guests and left as friends. Thank you for such a wonderful time. We’ll be back! ;-) Lars & Marina

Marco and his wife were a dream, taking care of us in every way and going above and beyond to make everyone comfortable and happy. It was the absolute best stay I’ve ever had, and we couldn’t have been happier. The setting in the Italian hills was relaxing, comfortable, and very private. There’s home-grown wine and wonderful people around, and it feels like Italy’s best-kept secret. It’s the best place to stay in the whole area. I can’t believe more people don’t know about it.
