The pool bar had a lovely feel to it, and the club sandwich was delicious. We also enjoyed the breakfast options and had a good dinner at the bistro, though the menu was limited and the meal felt quite expensive. Simona, our waitress, was very friendly. We'd only planned to stay one night, but liked it enough to add another. Giorgia at reception was so welcoming and upgraded us to a lovely suite with a balcony and views of the sea and Etna. The bed and linens were great, too. Andreas, the concierge, helped us get a contact for a private boat. A couple of things could be better: getting down to the rocky beach felt quite dangerous, even though it's a good spot for snorkelling, and the paths to the rooms were so dark we had to use our phone torches. Still, it was a relaxing stay and we had a lovely time. Thanks to the team, especially Giorgia.

The massage was one of the best I've ever had. I also really enjoyed the morning classes. Sébastieno's Pilates was a great way to start the day, with good exercises and a nice pace. Catarina led three yoga sessions a day, and she's warm and really knowledgeable. She chose different spots depending on the weather. Highly recommend both.

The beach terrace and the property are beautiful, but halfway through our stay we both wanted to leave for another hotel if we could get a refund. At this price, the management was unacceptable for an Autograph property. We won't return. Breakfast was chaotic. After 09:30, tables were often dirty or unavailable, and cutlery, glasses, or napkins were frequently missing. We ended up sitting at dirty tables for several days. Other Autograph hotels handle breakfast far better. The barista seemed overwhelmed and was occasionally rude, though it was clear they were understaffed. Our room also felt unclean, with a leaking shower and a serious ant problem in the bathroom. The restaurants were the worst food we had in Italy, with slow service and staff who were consistently rude. When we raised concerns, we got dismissive replies and no real attempt to fix things. After we posted negative reviews, management left a note under our door late at night asking to talk, which felt intrusive. At the front desk, we were told we could return to the restaurant and pay ourselves. They offered a free dessert only after we laughed at that suggestion. After what had happened, we weren't willing to spend another €100+. Giulia at the pool restaurant was the only person who was genuinely kind. Management's online replies telling guests to “be respectful to my staff” felt misplaced given how guests are treated here.

Claudia was my favorite. She showed me Adonai Eremo and gave such a good ceramic painting class, a really welcome creative part of the holiday. The place itself is beautiful and clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly. I'd give it 10/10 and recommend going, especially if you can find an event with Claudia. She's the best!

The lime bar and buffet are in good spots, with a nice range of food and drinks. The buffet did get repetitive after three days, though I think the season being nearly over may have been part of it. The resort is quite big, and at first it's literally a maze to find your way around. Great location and setting.
