We’ve stayed here twice and already can’t wait to come back. This historic, stylish Chateau on Brunate, the green hill overlooking Como, has been beautifully preserved. Each room feels different, with its own artifacts, and the service was warm and professional from booking through checkout. It’s a special place in Europe, and so close to Milan and Switzerland that it works for a getaway or a business trip.

Everything felt so special here. The staff are lovely and kind, and the place is spotless, with care taken over the little details. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, too. It really feels like a piece of heaven, and I highly recommend it.

It felt like home, and our stay at this elegant, peaceful place by Lake Como was marvelous. The hotel is a real gem, thoughtfully designed down to the details, with a private, classy atmosphere. The owners and staff were very kind, and their passion for what they do really shows. It was an extraordinary experience, and we'll definitely come again.

The staff are a real treasure here, especially the house manager, Massimo. His care and dedication touched us, and we felt exceptionally well looked after. The Villa sits on a picturesque hillside among beautifully kept gardens, with a stunning view. The design is masterfully done, from the lounge and kitchen to the rooms, and the atmosphere is priceless. Probably the best hospitality experience of my life. I’d book any room if I knew he’d be there :-) Go book, it’s a treat all around.

Our second visit was every bit as good as the first. The location and everyone involved make Villino Rubini a perfect place to switch off for a while. Thanks to the whole team, we’ll be back!
