There’s free parking beside the hotel, good restaurants nearby, and a lovely garden. It’s also a great base for exploring the dolomites. The staff were helpful and kind, and the owner gave us a warm welcome. The food was fresh, tasty, and mostly homemade. I’m grateful and would recommend staying here.

The one thing we really missed was a way to make tea in the evening, either a kettle in the room or a paid machine downstairs. Please add one! Otherwise it’s good value, just a three minute walk to the ski lifts, with a very good breakfast, friendly staff, and rooms cleaned daily.

The rooms are spacious, with a lovely balcony looking out at the mountains. Breakfast was great, and Ms Martina kindly made sure there was some halal food for Muslims. She was so welcoming and kind, and the location is perfect. I’ll definitely stay at Hotel Garni Hochgruber again.

The rooms are small, but fine for a 3* hotel. It does feel expensive, even in August, though I know this is a ski resort. Still, it’s a good base for exploring Dolomites, right by the cable car to Kronplatz. The location is quiet, there’s a car park and high speed wifi, and breakfast is excellent. Everything was very clean.

The room was a good size, the views were lovely, and breakfast was good quality. The towels felt rough, the TV was small, and dinner isn't served at the hotel. For the price and star rating, though, it’s very good.
