Osteria Al Cantonaccio Con Alloggio

We stayed in the apartment with our little baby, and the whole family were gracious and helpful, even with the mess we inevitably left. They’re genuinely warm and welcoming people, and the freshly made food was delicious. Dinner was high quality and very reasonably priced, served in lovely rooms. The filling breakfast, with homemade bread, pastries, and more, was a special bonus. The apartment was warm, comfortable, and well furnished, in a setting that couldn’t be more stunning. This is a uniquely beautiful place to stay and eat, with top quality accommodation. It’s a memorable spot. I don’t know if I’ve stayed anywhere better, and it’s truly worth five stars.

The pasta, steak, and wine were delicious, and we loved this cozy, welcoming family restaurant. We liked it so much we wanted to return the next day, but it was closed. One small suggestion: posting opening hours on Google would help people plan and come enjoy the excellent food and drinks. We’d come back anytime we’re in the region.

We shared three courses between us, which was plenty, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The evening was hot, but the downstairs seating was a nice, cool escape. The hostess noticed my girlfriend getting warm and brought her a hand fan. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and they didn’t mind that we don’t speak Italian. They even gave us an English menu, something not every place we’d visited had done. It’s a gorgeous little family restaurant, with lovely decor and a great atmosphere. I’ve spent two weeks hopping between hotels around Italy, and this is genuinely the best restaurant I’ve been to here. The food may be the best I’ve ever eaten. If I could give more than five stars, I would. We didn’t take photos like we sometimes do, because we didn’t want our phones to spoil the atmosphere. I wish I spoke enough Italian to tell them all this in person. I hope they see the review and Google Translate can do the work.

We tried six different dishes, and every one was really tasty. It’s a relaxed, cozy place, and I especially loved the cute dog standing at the kitchen entrance. I recommend it 100%!
