La Ciamusira

The house itself is beautiful, well organized, and in a lovely spot, but our experience with the Caseinautogestione portal was truly terrible. Their conduct was improper: they didn’t respond to emails or messages, then canceled our booking a week before the stay so they could rent to a larger group and make more. This happened two years in a row. They claimed the deposit hadn’t been sent, even though it hadn’t been requested as agreed by phone, and said the office, supposedly run by a husband and wife, hadn’t confirmed it. Completely improper.

There’s plenty here for big groups, including a huge indoor living room, a well-stocked kitchen, and rooms ranging from single rooms to 25-bed dorms. Outside there’s a large courtyard, green surroundings, a soccer field, bocce court, volleyball court, and a small playground for younger kids. A great base for hiking or cross-country skiing.

The setting was beautiful, and we had a truly extraordinary weekend in this vacation home. Too bad there wasn’t any snow.

We were there for a summer camp organized by our local parish oratory. The house is lovely, with lots of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy even when the weather’s bad. It’s spread over several floors, and the town is only a few kilometers away. There are excellent hiking trails nearby.
