Chianti Sunshine

We were looking for a peaceful stay, and just below the medieval hamlet of Montebenichi, I MORAIOLI was gloriously quiet. Most of the time we heard only birds and church bells, unless we were splashing about in the immaculate pool. The gardens are neatly kept, and the olive groves produce excellent oil. The farmhouse looks just as Tuscan in person as it does online. It was renovated from a near ruin, with care put into every detail. The setting also makes it easy to drive to many famous Tuscan towns. Fernando is there daily and pays close attention to things. He’s also genuinely warm and caring. For all that, the price was very reasonable. We’d wanted our long planned trip to Tuscany to feel just right, and it did. We’ll be back.

The view was superb, and the whole place had a relaxing feel. There’s a refreshing pool and a BBQ right beside the house. Mr. Fernando was a true host, and the rooms were cozy, clean and very well maintained. We had an amazing stay, thank you.

These apartments were renovated with real attention to detail, and the whole complex is very well looked after. The host was helpful and generous, and the view is great. A fireplace and heating make it a nice option even in autumn. Lighting and cameras help keep guests safe. Be sure to try the wine and oil made here.

We spent three nights here in late April and loved the views from the infinity pool out over the hills. The property is stunning. Fernando, the owner, was friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend it.
