La Monastica Resort & Spa

The Castellana suite was so spacious and comfortable for me and my two best friends. From the lovely treats and welcome drinks when we arrived to checkout, we felt truly cared for at La Monastica and got the luxury, relaxing stay we wanted. The hospitality was the best I've had at any hotel. Everyone was personable and went out of their way to make things perfect. Special shout out to the reception team, Elena, Diane, Edoardo, who were always there when we needed anything. Breakfast was lovely, with a good choice at the table and from the kitchen, and that unforgettable Tuscan countryside view. The food was excellent. The clock tower ringing didn't bother us at all, and ear plugs are provided for light sleepers. La Monastica will provide what you need. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.

The setting is secluded and peaceful, with gorgeous views and intimate little corners all around. Our room was very spacious. The staff were caring and attentive, always discreet but available when needed. The restaurant was excellent, and the decor and quality finishes throughout were exceptional. The service here was amazing. Staff used our names and even prepared the room for sleeping while we were at dinner. We were greeted at the top, where they took our bags and parked the car, then brought to the bar to check in with a welcome drink. There’s a lavish breakfast, a fine dining restaurant, and great food to enjoy by the pool or in your room. This is how a five-star hotel should be. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tuscany who wants a peaceful, scenic stay with top-notch hospitality.

The food was outstanding, with every dish showing care, creativity, and respect for local ingredients. You could taste the talent and passion behind it. We were delighted to hear about the Michelin distinction awarded just a week before we arrived, and it felt very deserved. The quality, flavor, and presentation matched the best fine dining we've experienced. La Monastica Resort & Spa also has a wonderfully elegant, serene atmosphere, ideal for unwinding. The rooms, spa, and restaurant all showed real thought for guest comfort. From the start, the warm, caring service made us feel genuinely looked after, and the whole staff deserves recognition for their professionalism and kindness.
