Smart Hotel Bartolini

Breakfast felt like having a private chef. They were happy to make what you wanted and remembered your order each morning, which made it feel personal and friendly. The owner and staff were also extremely helpful and knew the local, authentic Tuscan restaurants and attractions well. The hotel itself was beautiful and full of character, and it showed off the picturesque area. Our room and beds were cleaned every day and were absolutely spotless. It made our trip, and gave us a perfect birthday and first visit to the area. We couldn't have asked for much more. Wishing them all the best, and we'll be back!

The breakfast had plenty to choose from, and our room was spotless. Everyone on staff was kind and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Monticatini was a lovely place to stay, and the hotel was well located. We had very clean rooms, friendly staff, and a tasty breakfast with a good range of choices. The room also had a fridge, kettle and hairdryer, which was handy. The main entrance felt very secure, with cameras in place. We did have trouble with our door lock, and a couple of times I returned to find the room wasn't properly locked after cleaning. I also lost a necklace in the room, though everything else was there, so I may simply have misplaced it. Even with those concerns, we'd still return. We enjoyed the stay 😊

This was a good-value place for a short break. The rooms are simple, clean and quiet, with basic amenities including a mini fridge, and the staff were lovely and helpful. The town is a nice option if you don't want to stay in Pisa or Florence, and the train station is a 10 minute walk away. I'd stay here again.
