The people working here are the real stars. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the bar stayed open, and Sarah at the front of house gave us local tips and booked taxis for us. We chose half board. Breakfast was basic but adequate, with continental and some hot options; dinner had three choices each for starters and mains, so there was usually something for everyone. We ate out a couple of nights, which was easy, and there are lots of great restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are dated but simple and comfortable. The hotel's quiet, in a great spot in Montecatini Terme, with a lovely courtyard for drinks and a little pool to cool off in after exploring. Good value, and I'd recommend it.

The train station is only a five-minute walk away, and the hotel is close to all the amenities. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Reale in Montecatini Terme. It was peaceful and quiet, and the staff were lovely and helpful. Fabulous, and I can't recommend it enough.

The pool is a great extra, and the food was good. Rooms are basic, but perfectly fine for a 3-star place. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Sara and Angela. The location works well both for Montecatini Terme and Alto, and as a base for exploring Tuscany. Pisa, Lucca and Florence are all a train ride away, and the station is handy. A lovely little gem.

The pool was nice, though a little fresh, and the staff were all lovely and attentive. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice. Dinner came with three choices of primera and three of secunda, plus one warm vegetable and a dessert. There was also a varied, tasty buffet of cold vegetables and salad. These aren't starter and main portions, though, this is Italy and both courses are hefty. A lovely 3-star hotel.

The hotel was old-fashioned, but exceptionally clean, and the meals were very good. They handled my partner's vegetarian and gluten Free requirements really well. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and we'd definitely stay again. We had a wonderful time here in Montecatini. Thanks for a lovely stay.
