Aparthotel Garni Haus Hubertus

Jakob was patient, really welcoming, and happy to help with whatever we needed. We’re very grateful for his hospitality. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, in a typical South Tyrolean village. We’d happily recommend it.

Lake Resia is only about 10 minutes away, so the location worked beautifully for hiking in the area. We booked a place for four for one night at a very competitive price. The complex was nice, the room lovely, and the staff were warm and helpful. We’ll definitely come back.

We were a couple staying for a three-day break, and the young man managing the place was helpful, easy to find downstairs, and around whenever we needed him. The garden is beautifully kept, with three parking spots outside and the rest in a garage below. Our apartment was spotless, with a flower-filled balcony and a lovely view, though the furniture is very basic. The village felt like a fairytale, with chickens and cows grazing, stables among the houses, and tractors passing through. Two things kept this from being a full-mark stay. The kitchen has only a small stove that can handle two little pots, and with just one frying pan, cooking was nearly impossible. There are only the bare essentials, too. I was also uncomfortable that the owner came into the apartment while we were out. He had formally come to bring something we’d asked for, but I felt he was also checking on the apartment because we had two small dogs. That felt like a real invasion of privacy. An apartment isn’t a hotel room, and it really bothered me. Otherwise, I’d recommend the place.

We spent three nights here and found the owner friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well equipped, with a balcony, parking, and beautiful mountain views. The location was great, too. We’d highly recommend it.
