The pool was the standout for us, probably the best one we’ve had at any villa, and the grandkids absolutely loved it. We’ve just finished a fantastic family holiday at Baglio Minaudo, with great amenities and owners who were incredibly friendly and helpful. We also really enjoyed the welcome dinner. Giovanni had never cooked for vegans before, but it was scrumptious. If you don’t speak Italian, it’s a bonus that Teresa speaks perfect English. We hope we get to visit again.

We’ve just come back from a lovely villa in the Sicilian countryside. The outdoor kitchen was a favorite with the adults, while the kids especially loved the pool. The local owners were very helpful without being intrusive. The place is charming and beautifully presented, with some modern touches. We’ll return.

Giovanni and Teresa are special hosts, and their welcome dinner was an amazing meal, worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant. They’re native English speakers, too. Baglio Minaudo sits in the Erice countryside and has been beautifully renovated while keeping some of its original furnishings. The pool is lovely, and it’s tempting to spend your time there instead of going out to explore all the attractions nearby. We can’t wait to come back.
