Lake & Country Holidays

Five peaceful, relaxing days in a beautiful spot surrounded by nature and horses. The apartment was clean, welcoming, and had every comfort. Nicola and Elena are down-to-earth, friendly people. I’ll definitely stay at Lake Country Holiday again when I’m back in Verona.

The residence sits beside a riding stable, so from our apartment we could watch horses training in show jumping. My family and I stayed here in a natural setting, and everything was clean, well looked after, and comfortable. There’s air conditioning in every room, laundry service, and a spacious pool. Stefano, the manager, was especially kind and helpful. He recommended places to visit and places to eat. I’d definitely stay here again if I came back to the area.

Three minutes from Parco Natura Viva, which is why we chose this place, it also worked well as a base for our favorite spots: Peschiera is 15 minutes away, Lazise 10, and Bardolino 20. It was among the cheapest options nearby. The property is surrounded by greenery, and although it’s close to the highway, we couldn’t hear it. Mr. Stefano was very helpful and kind. There are details that could use attention. There were no breakfast placemats or even cloths for wiping the sink, the pillows were in poor shape, and the bathroom ventilation needs updating. The pool area has a lot of potential but wasn’t at its best. We did see bugs and ants, but we’re in the countryside and weren’t being overrun; the noisy neighbor was also nobody’s fault. A little more care with the details would make the place fabulous.

The accommodations are comfortable, and the place has a lot of potential, but it needs more upkeep. Leaves, dirt, and all sorts of insects were around, and the shared areas weren’t very clean. I also don’t understand why there’s no bidet when there seems to be room for one. I know the price is reasonable, but better general cleaning would help.
