The lake view from my fourth-floor room was lovely, especially at sunrise, and the small balcony was a nice bonus. I could walk to a few restaurants, or eat at the hotel. Breakfast had a limited selection but tasted good, and dinner was tasty too. The room was a good size for a business trip and was cleaned daily. The fridge was a bit loud, though you can unplug it. The bathroom was small and the shower tiny, but that was fine for me. You can rent a kayak at La Playa, about a ten-minute walk away.

Our room was spacious and clean, with a lovely balcony facing the nearby lake and the mountains in the distance. The staff were friendly, and we ate very well at the restaurant. It’s a lovely little hotel in Cadrazzete, well placed for driving around the lakes.

It was too hot to cook, so we dropped into the restaurant without planning ahead. The meal was one of the tastiest I’ve had in ages. We sat at a cool table beneath the vines and watched the world go by. We had steak tartare with trimmings for antipasto, delicious sea bass ravioli for primo, and a very tasty coppa steak for secondo. Lovely!

The breakfast was served in a charming place, with lots of choice, including homemade cakes and gluten-free croissants. The people running the hotel were very nice, and the location was good.

The village is very quiet, so having a car is necessary. The hotel itself is nice and clean, and the staff are friendly, though not everyone speaks English. There’s a mix of business travelers and people just passing through. I wouldn’t say it’s ideal for a long stay, but it’s a good place for a short one.
