B&B 56 EURO a NOTTE

We got a refund for the second night, even though we weren’t entitled to one, and that was the only good part. The room was stifling without air conditioning. I imagine it’s freezing in winter, since there’s no heating and the windows are old and flimsy. Glass doors let the hallway light spill into the room whenever someone switched it on, and every hallway noise came through. The furniture was shabby and old. The shared bathroom was awful, and with the window shut the smell was like a train station toilet. Save yourself the trouble and spend a few extra euros somewhere else.

For a last-minute booking or a work trip where keeping travel costs down matters, this can be a useful base. The prices are hard to beat, so it’s best to book without expecting too much. It’s centrally located, and the owner is friendly, patient, and helpful. He was ready to sort out any problems or inconveniences during the stay.

The host was so kind and arranged a lot of things for us while we were there. We had a great stay. The apartment is in a handy spot in Cagliari, with bus stops just down the street for getting around the city center and nearby area. Highly recommend, 10/10!
