The staff were wonderful, and they even let us check out at a reasonable later time because our ferry wasn’t until the afternoon. The hotel is close to the ferry and not far from the centre, with plenty of indoor parking for motorbikes. We enjoyed both the international breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. Thanks!

The staff and cleaning team were so nice, but the rooms were a different story. We changed rooms twice and each one had the same problems, so we eventually found another hotel. There was a musty smell, worn furniture and sagging chairs, plus cracking walls and wallpaper peeling from water damage caused by a leaking air conditioner. The bathrooms looked very old too, with mold in the caulking, a yellowish bathtub, taps that didn’t work and a toilet that was hard to flush. The hotel needs a lot of updating and doesn’t look like the photos.

The rooms feel old, and the quality fittings need some maintenance. It’s time for a refurbishment.

The restaurant was the highlight for me. I ate there four nights in a row and was delighted every time. The food was amazing, prices were reasonable, the staff were up to a high standard, and the wine selection was really nice. The rooms show their age, but I was happy with the cleanliness and the staff. Breakfast could use more options for my girlfriend, who is vegan. We’ll be back soon.
