B&B La Sella Del Diavolo

We could get a table each day we visited, and the food was quite tasty. Lunch can be taken out to the beach, and breakfast or dinner is available at the restaurant. There are always restrooms available, which was handy, and the service was good. A nice seaside place, recommended.

The prices felt fair, and the food was fresh and good. It’s a pleasant, relaxing spot near the beach, though the meal wasn’t special enough that I’d make a detour for it. Service dragged from the start right through to the end, which was frustrating when the place wasn’t even very busy. Still, it’s an acceptable option nearby for a simple meal that doesn’t cost too much.

At Sella del Diavolo, the prices seemed fair for a beachfront spot. We stopped for lunch while visiting Poetto. The food was fresh and nicely prepared, but nothing stood out and it didn’t leave much of an impression. It took ages to get menus, then even longer for the food. If you’re not in a rush and just want a casual meal with decent food, it’s a reasonable choice.

This was our third time at Poetta Beach and this restaurant, and each visit has been worse. We won’t be back. The portions are big and the food is okay, but the prices aren’t cheap and the service was awful. Four waiters were nearby when we arrived, yet nobody would even make eye contact. I went inside after half an hour to ask for someone. Once we ordered, we waited another 20 minutes, got the wrong order, and still had no water. We asked three times for a bottle and waited another 20 minutes. All told, it took over an hour. The staff weren’t friendly, though I blame the poor management more than them. Service seemed much faster for locals who spoke the language. As soon as our food came, they asked us for the bill, as if we might run off. They didn’t do that to locals. Things can go downhill quickly without management noticing. There are other beach kiosks nearby, so this isn’t the only option. Good luck to the management.
