BB22 Cagliari

We enjoyed Cagliari a lot, and the apartment was good value and well placed for the main sights. It has four separately rented bedrooms and a shared living room. Our room was a good size, the bed was comfortable, and the little fridge came in handy for food and drinks. We had a small balcony over an internal courtyard, nice for sitting out with a snack and wine. There was a Nespresso machine in our room and another in the shared room. Coffee, water, tea, juice, and small packaged toast, cakes, and waffles with jam were complimentary. The room was made up daily with fresh towels and toiletries, and the housekeeper was friendly and helpful. We did have trouble communicating with the host after our flight was cancelled. Messaging and email weren't enough, so we eventually had to call from the UK to Italy. We were asked to send passport photos on WhatsApp before receiving codes for the building and apartment. That made us a little uncomfortable, but we felt we had to comply. The codes didn't arrive straight away, and we ended up outside with no way in. I messaged again, and then they were sent. The WiFi was another issue. The host said it should be working, but we still had problems. It only reached the shared living area, so guests crowded into the small space to get online, sometimes all at once, and the connection would drop. Also, the word Bakery in the name is misleading: there are photos from when there was a bakery, but it no longer exists. Even with these few things that could have been better, we were happy with our stay and would consider booking again.

The island and city have a lovely charm, and it was easy to reach both town and the beach by bus or taxi. We had a nice stay, with a good location, pleasant rooms, and an easy check-in.

Breakfast could use more options and variety. The guest rooms are cozy and have what you need, and the location is very good, close to the city center.

The rooms were good, and the surrounding area was convenient.
