Bed Breakfast Del Fiore

We waited over an hour at checkout and the owner still didn't show up, despite saying several times he would come for breakfast too. We paid for breakfast but got none. The balcony doors wouldn't close, which meant anyone could get into the apartment. He didn't keep his promises. This was the worst experience ever, and I found him a liar and a fraud.

The view down onto the street is amazing, and you can watch everyday life in Cagliari from there. The place feels new and exciting, with plenty of room for a fairly large family. WiFi worked well for browsing and light downloads.

After the first night of our two-night stay, we called the manager, Simone, about some problems. We got rudeness instead of a response, even though none of the issues seemed impossible to sort out if he'd listened. A little kindness, help, and empathy toward guests would have been enough. There was total indifference. We won't return, can't recommend dealing with someone like this, and certainly won't give the place positive publicity. Thankfully, our stay was only two nights.

Cleanliness was good, and the room was quiet and peaceful, but it needs renovation. The place is in an old building, and both the front door and bedroom door need repairs because their locks don't feel secure. I recommend renovating the whole place.
