Cagliari Novecento

The staff were kind and professional, but I found the room uncomfortable and the price too high for what it offered. It smelled quite bad, perhaps because they’d sprayed too many products to cover another smell. Luckily I only had to stay one night. They say the rooms are soundproof, but that wasn’t true for mine. I could hear other guests and what they were doing in their rooms. The acoustics were really bad. They should lower their prices. I’d recommend it if you haven’t found any better options.

The staff were helpful, the Wi-Fi was good, and the room and bathroom were nice and clean. It’s close to the bus and train station. I’d stay again.

The central location, nearby railway parking, and quiet area were the main pluses, and it was good value for money. There’s no breakfast at the guesthouse, though that wasn’t a problem since a good pastry shop is just 50 meters away. The property is in an older building. My room was a bit small and poorly lit, with a window onto a small light well. The shower needs maintenance: the stall doesn’t close properly, so water leaks out, and the soap dispensers are broken. The TV only gets a few channels, with poor reception.
