Hotel La Terrazza

Our room on the fifth floor had a beautiful view and was very clean. It was cleaned every day, with fresh towels each time. The location was very good, just a few minutes from the train station. We could also pay by credit card.

For a two-star hotel, this is really nice, with everything needed: TV, air conditioning, a mini-fridge and Wi-Fi. It was very clean, and the staff were kind and attentive to what we asked for, which feels rare these days. The value for money is excellent. The only irritating part was the traffic noise from the street, since the windows or walls don’t insulate very well. Earplugs would solve it. I stayed here last night and will definitely come back.

The location is right in the heart of Cagliari, with the bus stop a 10-minute walk away, and we had no complaints about it. Breakfast isn’t served in the hotel, but they handle that nicely with coupons for coffee and pastries at the neighboring cafe Illy. The coupon works all day, so you can even use it for coffee in the evening. We’re satisfied with the stay. It was very clean, and the cleaning was excellent. To give you an idea, they even wash the air conditioner filters periodically. The bathroom is small, but there’s no reason it needs to be bigger.

Just below Cagliari's historic district, the hotel is in a handy spot and feels like good value. The rooms are decent and very clean, and the staff are helpful and welcoming. Breakfast comes with the price and is served at the Illy café next door.
