Hotel Nautilus

Really clean and presentable, with an ideal spot for beach days and a bus stop nearby for getting to the old town. Breakfast had a great choice, and the staff were attentive. I’d happily come back and recommend it.

We ate at the hotel’s Litus restaurant a couple of times for lunch and dinner, and it was really good. We also tried their beach restaurant several times, with plenty of fresh salads and a good range of larger meals. The hotel itself is a lovely, friendly boutique place, well run and staffed by kind, helpful people. We especially enjoyed having a hot tub in our garden. The beach is only a short walk away, and there are lots of nice restaurants nearby.

The room was tiny but ridiculously cute, and the terrace was handy. The bathrooms had been done recently. Staff were so, so kind, and we used the bike service too. Breakfast was lovely, and when we checked out early they even left us a bag with cookies and other bits. I don’t think I’d go back to Cagliari, but if I did, I’d stay here again.

The hotel staff were great before, during and after our visit, with useful suggestions, quick replies and help whenever we needed it. For a relaxing holiday by the beach, the location is hard to beat. There are places nearby to eat or hire a board or boat, and sun loungers come with the stay. A small supermarket is about five minutes away for a cheap fresh lunch or essentials. The bus stop is just behind the hotel and gets you into town without a long trip. The rooms and hotel have a bright theme and are really well cared for. Breakfast was much the same most days, but decent quality. The pool is small, though there’s room to sunbathe in relative calm. It’s a fairly small boutique 3-star hotel without loads of facilities, but it makes a good base for a relaxing break.
