Marlin Rooms

The rooms look out onto a nice courtyard, and the place is quiet. It's a good option for a couple of nights, although the walls inside the rooms were dirty. The location is convenient, right opposite the train station and a short walk from the centre, but the area near the station is a bit run down.

The room was comfortable, though not very big, and the bathroom was very spacious and clean. There was a large TV and a comfortable sofa. In the hall, the dining area had a microwave, cutlery, glasses, plates, kettle, toaster, and coffee machine. Tea, coffee, cocoa, milk, water, snacks, olive oil, salt, and sugar were available, so you could put together breakfast or dinner. There was also a fridge in the room with water and milk, plus a large basket of snacks, more than I expected. The reception was better than expected, and the woman was very friendly and spoke English well. The hotel is on the second floor, reached by an antique elevator that is worth seeing on its own. It's right by the train station. Public parking across the station costs €1.20 per hour, and is free because the vehicle is in a secured, well-maintained lot.

The host was very kind. There's a large parking lot nearby, and they provide free coffee, snacks, juice, bread, and water. Our room was clean and comfortable enough, with a small balcony overlooking the building's interior, furnished with a table and two chairs. The hotel is on the second floor of a building close to everything, including both the train and bus stations. I'd suggest putting a sign at the building entrance, because otherwise it's hard to tell where the hotel is.

We arrived late, and Gabi was very friendly and explained how to get in and lock up the hotel ourselves. The location next to the train station is great, and the room was large with a good toilet. The bathroom fan needs cleaning. Room 3 had an unusual smell, perhaps because someone had smoked there in the past.
