The view from this restaurant is incredible, and the setting really stays with you. We had delicious food, beautifully put together. A great place to visit if you're nearby.

The food was delicious, the prices were moderate, and the staff were friendly and efficient. They have a full typical menu, with a few dishes off the menu each day. The hosts are amiable, and the view is beautiful. Worth a try.

We went twice. The first visit was pretty good, though we waited a few minutes for a staff member who was chatting with coworkers. The barman had to ask him several times before he came to take our order. On our second visit we couldn't eat there because they said they only took guests with reservations, and we didn't have one. It was Tuesday around 8 pm in the slow season, the town and nearby area were quiet, and the restaurant looked about a quarter full. I don't know what the circumstances were, so I can't say exactly why we were turned away. I'd suggest calling ahead and booking before you go.

A mountaineer with plenty of experience suggested we stay here while planning a week in Val d'Aosta. It’s been family-run for more than fifty years, and Darma, a delightful lady, makes the place feel like another time, with kind service, fair prices, good cooking and everything kept tidy. The surrounding mountains and valleys look amazing. Well worth a visit.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, with quirky decor, and the owners were personable and clearly worked hard to make everything go smoothly. The family-run place also has an excellent restaurant, possibly the village's only one in summer. Their gnocchi a la Valdostana were the best, and the polenta Valdostana was among the best I've had in the village. Excellent place.
