Marmori - Suites Cagliari

The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, happy to meet requests and share great tips about the city. The cleanliness was excellent, and every detail had been looked after. The suite was spacious, bright, and beautifully designed, with a very comfortable bed and a marble bathroom with a spectacular shower. Even on lively Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, the soundproofing kept things peaceful for a good night's sleep. Marmori Suites is right in the centre, surrounded by great restaurants and bars, and well placed for exploring on foot. It was an unforgettable stay, and we'll definitely return!

The rooms are modern, spotless, and tastefully furnished, with comfort and elegance together. The refined style and attention to detail really stand out, especially in the bathroom finished in Orosei marble. Fantastic! The location makes it easy to explore the city on foot, while still being a good spot for a peaceful stay. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back.

The suites are in a perfect location, and the rooms were immaculate. However, the windows are heavily screened, leaving the room stuffy with a slightly unpleasant, chemical smell. We were there for two days, and found the five-star reviews puzzling, especially when it came to service. There's no reception. The phone number listed didn't work, and nobody called back. When we arrived, the door was locked, with no information during booking about how to enter. Everything felt anonymous, with no names on the messages. Before entering the building, we had to send complete ID details as a photo over WhatsApp, hoping the photos were only needed for registration. Cameras cover the whole building outside and in the stairwell, and all the locks are electronic. Security or surveillance? There's no Wi-Fi in the room. The advertised balcony with garden furniture was actually a Juliet balcony with no space for furniture. A furnished balcony and Wi-Fi were both booking criteria for us. We booked through Booking.com.

I've just spent two nights at Marmori Suites, and since I come to Cagliari often, I can say this was my best experience so far. The location is ideal, right on the Corso, the city's most central nightlife area. In Cagliari, Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is simply called "il Corso," since all the other streets are "vias," and it's the Corso par excellence. Marmori is just a three-minute walk from the station. Trains leave there every 15 minutes for the airport, and the ride takes five minutes, so Elmas Airport is eight minutes away in total, five by train and three on foot. Cagliari is a wonderful city to discover. Even though the suites are in the middle of the nightlife, the special noise-reducing windows keep that sound out. The host has clearly taken care to give guests a peaceful stay. Marmori is a refined choice with everything close by. Thank you, we'll see you again soon.
