The food itself was mostly bland, and the ramen tasted like instant noodles. We had three small rounds of meat brought to the table, and one waiter dismissed our attempts to explain in English that we hadn't ordered it. His gestures made us think it was a complimentary appetizer for everyone: two tiny sausage pieces, a rib, and a chicken leg. Nobody told us it was part of an all-you-can-eat meat selection, so we had no way to know its price. The meat was bland too, as if it had just been grilled without seasoning. When the bill came, the food alone was €90, even though the three of us added up our orders to no more than €48. We paid, then went back to ask why it was double what we expected and to request compensation. They eventually explained the meat selection and returned €18, which felt unfair given that we hadn't been told about it and couldn't communicate with most of the staff. Only one waiter spoke English, and he was the one who later helped us with the compensation. The service for tourists needs a lot of improvement. We ended up paying tens of extra euros because of poor communication. The restaurant seemed more interested in taking our money than finding someone we could understand. I wouldn't recommend it to tourists who don't speak Italian. If not for the kind English-speaking waiter, I'd have rated the service one star too.

What a mess. We spent three hours at lunch without getting a single smile back, and waited an hour for the first plate. The food came in the wrong order, with hot dishes arriving before the appetizers. I saw a waiter drop food on the floor and put it back on the plate to serve it. Dirty dishes were left on tables, and everything felt rushed and chaotic. Don't be fooled by the fancy first room. Worst service I've had, what a disgrace.

The room had a nice view, but the rest of the stay was full of problems. The kitchen was tiny, with seating for only three. There was no hot water or dish soap, and the only pot that seemed usable was dirty and hidden in the oven. If you want to cook, you'd need to bring your own pot or pan. The WiFi had issues, and no one could clearly say when it would work properly. The listing said breakfast was included, but we found out on arrival there was none because the restaurant doesn't open until 10:30. Check-in was also confusing: the phone sometimes went unanswered, and when staff did answer, they weren't always comfortable speaking English. The instructions for getting the keys weren't clear either. The apartment has about five rooms. We weren't lucky enough to get a room with its own separate bathroom accessible only from inside the room. Ours was off the main corridor, where people from all the other rooms could access and use it.

Never again. We waited an hour for the first plate, then I saw the chef drop food on the floor and put it back on a plate for customers. Another person picked up ginger with bare fingers after handling dirty plates. It would be a miracle not to get sick eating here. Worst place ever!

My partner and I have been twice in the past three days. The food was amazing, with so many options, and the staff were great. A new trainee working Monday night was especially lovely. We'll come back next time we're in cagliari!
